Pre-Season Competitive Camp with Frederic Chotin

We are excited to announce that Frederic Chotin will be leading a week-long summer camp at LEO Fencing Club! Frederic currently serves as Coach of the French Senior women's team and was coach of the French youth teams for 4 years. He has more than 20 years of coaching experience. Frédéric will be leading this clinic over five days and sharing his insights and expertise with the LEO fencing community and other experienced competitive fencers.

Frederic's fencing philosophy focuses on a system that combines both creation and sanction, with technique serving strategic intentions like bias and adaptation. Frederic places special emphasis on the individual lesson, giving particular attention to the crucial element of leg work, ensuring that each fencer refines their footwork and strengthens their overall technique.

This camp is open to fencers with 3+ years of competitive fencing experience and an active competitive membership with USA.
