USA Fencing Membership
All fencers—at all levels—must have an active USA Fencing membership to fence.

If you are participating in a trial class at LEO, you may sign up for a free 90-day USA Fencing trial membership. If you or your child continues to fence, you will need to sign up for an Access or Competitive Membership.

The USA Fencing Membership page explains the relevant membership types:
-
Sign up for Access Membership ($34/year) if your fencer is primarily fencing at LEO Fencing Club and at local tournaments.
-
Sign up for Competitive Membership ($99/year) if your fencer plans to compete at regional, national, or international competitions. You can upgrade from an Access Membership to a Competitive Membership at any time.

To connect a child's membership to a parent's profile
If you first created a membership for your child and would like to link it to a parent's profile, you can do one of the following:

-
If you don't already have a profile for yourself, you can do so from your child's account. Click on Register a New Profile. For "Profile Type," select "Myself. Create My parent profile."

-
If you already have a separate account for yourself, log into that account, then select "Claim a profile." Then enter your child's USA Fencing membership number and the email address associated with your child's account.
-
Note: if you have more than one child who fences, it is helpful to link your children's accounts to a parent's profile.
